Media Kit

Thank you for checking out our media kit. We have prepared some images to help you with a story about South Fraser Search and Rescue’s activities. During operations our primary reporting relationship is with our tasking partner and we may direct you to them for further comment on a particular search as communications are released in a coordinated manner.

  • 50 members
  • All field members trained to provincial ground search and rescue standard (70+ hours to obtain)
  • We respond to a wide range of incidents. In particular in our area we search for seniors living with dementia, kids with special needs
  • Our members will respond to incidents anywhere in British Columbia and are often part of the incident management team (IMT) for large scale search operations
